One Tribe In Jesus

As our intercessors were praying in the UK a word came that: “As I prayed I felt the need to celebrate and emphasise the unity of the conference. In 2017 one of the features was the Jesus-centred unity, Ephesians 4 ,between the tribal groups and how this was the hope for South Sudan”

SOMA is built on intercession and we try and communicate key words to the team in the field and pray in an informed way for breakthrough .

The message came back from Paul: “Thanksgiving here for all God is doing - strong emphasis on being one tribe in Jesus. These words are very helpful. Also much focus on Eph 4:26 - dealing with anger well, forgiving others etc. The Samson teaching helpfully emphasises these points too. The Holy Spirit is bringing it all together!”

Two other intercessors had been praying and each wrote:

“I could see 100 leather sandals outside a tent - Father God wants to put them on young men as the gospel of peace . They will not wear out. They are a mark of the Father's love and ownership.”

“I was praying tonight with friends and I had a picture. Rows and rows of leather sandals lined up outside the meeting place. I could see the Father gently putting the sandals on the young peoples feet. They are the shoes of the gospel of peace. Deuteronomy 29 v 5-6 came to mind … these sandals will not wear out.”

Praise God for all he is doing, despite a downpour that lasted from 4pm to 10pm which meant afternoon teaching stopped early and meant they had to walk across the path on bricks.

Please keep praying for health for the team, for fruit from prayers for healing this morning (testimonies coming in tonight) and for all the tribes and language groups to come together as ONE TRIBE in Jesus.
